We are finalising preparations for a trip around Australia, beginning in what we belive may be the best spot of all, Lennox Head on the East Coast (about 20 km's South of the most easterly point on the mainland, Byron Bay). We are choosing to travel in an anti-clockwise direction as it is 47 km's shorter since we drive on the left hand side of the road. :) We will take our time getting to the Northern Territory since the wet season still has a month or so to go.
We will be making the trip in a Jayco motorhome, which may prove pretty close quarters for the four of us, but we will utilise space effectively and make the most of it.
The children, (Mariah & Christian) plan to sleep over the cab while Maree & I will get the bed in the back.
We will begin by heading inland and to the North and will post places and experiences of interest on this blog along the way.
